When playing in a tournament would you rather go in as the favorite or the underdog?
I naturally feel more comfortable as the underdog, but, when I’m playing well, I feel like the favorite anyway.

What is the craziest thing that has happened to you on a golf course?
I was over a chip shot in a tournament in Japan, when I could hear what I thought was a truck going along a nearby road. I backed away from the shot, turned around, and realized the sound was actually a fan lying about ten yards away, snoring!! When everyone started laughing, the fan woke up, realized what was going on and was very embarrassed. He was my lucky fan; after resuming play, I chipped in for birdie! I threw him the lucky ball!

Is there anything you won't eat?
Haggis and Black Pudding, Brussel Sprouts.

What’s your favorite snack on the course?
Raw nuts, with a few M&M’s mixed in!

What is your favorite thing to do?
Jump on my surfboard and paddle out to the back of a set of waves.

What is your favorite quote or saying?
Chevy Chase’s character, Ty in Caddyshack, telling Danny to “Be the Ball.”

If you could do one thing for a day what would it be?
I would love to be a NASCAR driver for a day.

Are you superstitious? Any lucky charms?
I’m quite superstitious on the golf course. I NEVER walk in front of the tee markers before I have teed off. I always start with four tees of the same color, preferably white. I NEVER use number 4 golf balls in a tournament. I always remove my glove before I reach the green.

What is your biggest pet peeve?
Arrogance.

Is there anything you feel you cannot live without?
The love of my family, my fiancé Greg Ritchie and the possibility of spending some time surfing at the end of the season.

Andre Agassi

What is your favorite all-time movie?
The Shawshank Redemption

What was most special about your first win?
The fact that it happened! I came from Australia to play on the most successful women’s sporting organization in the world - the LPGA. To be competitive with the players I had only read about, and to trust my game under pressure, and come out with my name on the top of the leader board was extremely satisfying.

What is the best gift you have ever been given?
A surfboard. It’s an 8’6” red and white striped Mini Mal – it’s a classic.

Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Definitely a morning person.

What is the one thing you absolutely must do in order to get your day started right?
Get a good night’s sleep!

If you could possess any super human power what would it be?
Fly at the speed of light. I could then put on my super woman costume and fly to Australia in under 19 hours!

What is your favorite food?
Lebanese Food.

What is your favorite thing to do at home?
Relax on the sofa, with Greg, a good movie, and a bag of M&M’s.

What is your favorite color?
BLUE!
