CN Canadian Open

Tied for 27th last week at the Safeway, was a good start for me after a few weeks off. The Safeway has always been one of my most favourite events, and I am so pleased when I can play well, and feel like I can return some of the hospitality that the event and the local volunteers and fans have given us. We were at Pumpkin Ridge, Ghost Hollow Golf Course for the first time last week, and what a great golf course! The weather was nice for us too, except for a few showers on Friday and late Saturday. I am really happy with 14 birdies for the 3 rounds, and once I start minimizing the mistakes, we will be back up in the Top 10!

We have now made it to Canada for the CN Canadian Open this week. The event rotates every year, and this year we are playing at Priddis Green Golf Club in Calgary. CN and the RCGA really do host an incredible week. The hospitality and tranportation is great, and the Caddies have their own suite to relax in after lugging the bag around all day - complete with t.v's, sofas and plenty of food! The weather forecast is looking pretty good, so, I am looking forward to getting out there and building on the good momentum I found last week.

Thanks again for checking in!
