State Farm LPGA Classic

Hi Everyone,

Well, I am excited to be back in Springfield, Illinois, ready to play the State Farm LPGA Classic. As it is my first event in over 6 months, I expect to be a little tired at the end of this week, but I can't wait to get started! My ankle has recovered as good as can be expected. I have practiced walking the golf course at home in preparation for the tournament, but I didn't realise how much faster we walk on tour! I've got to pick up the pace a little!

The weather is far warmer here than in Australia at the moment, as the winter is settling in down under. Panther Creek is in great shape, and the greens are really good. As long as we don't get too many of those heavy summer thunderstorms the course should stay in great condition for us.

Well, the jet lag is settling in, so time to get some rest and prepare for a good week. I had a good flight from Australia, but it never gets any shorter....Thanks for checking in and here's hoping for a solid week!

All the best

Rachel
